Level 1 Tech Support Agent

JOB PURPOSE: 1st line technical support (via phone, email, and other electronic communications) for our growing residential and SME broadband and telephone customer base.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ideal applicants will have some relevant experience in a technical support role, or technology-related call centre environment.

Applicants should have experience working with both residential and business customers assisting with configuration, troubleshooting, research, and service development.

REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Telephone support experience preferred.
• Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls (35-40 calls per day on average), and other electronic communications.
• Excellent knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting ability and good networking knowledge.
• Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
• Proficient in Internet related applications such as E-Mail clients, Anti-virus software, and Web Browsers.
• Proficient in basic router setups - WAN configuration, wireless network configuration, & firewall / port forwarding configuration.
• Basic knowledge of MAC operating systems preferred.
• Proven ability to work on own initiative and develop skills and learning.
• Available within 4 weeks or less.

Location: Dundalk (Hybrid - 2 days in office)
