Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with government departments (Municipal Corporation, Town Planning, PWD, Pollution Control Board, Electricity Board, Fire Department, etc.) to obtain necessary project approvals, permits, NOCs, and licenses.
- Coordinate with statutory authorities for inspections, renewals, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain and update records of all permissions, land documents, drawings, and regulatory correspondences.
- Facilitate communication between the project site, management, contractors, and external agencies. Support land acquisition processes and verify ownership documents whenever required.
- Ensure construction activities meet local laws, building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with government officials, community leaders, and local stakeholders.
- Follow up on pending applications and ensure timely resolution of approval-related issues.
- Assist in resolving site-level challenges related to utilities (water, electricity, road access, etc.).
- Prepare reports, status updates, and documentation for management review.
- Represent the company in meetings, hearings, and official visits.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields preferred).
- 2–6 years of experience in liaison work within the construction, real estate, or infrastructure sector.
- Strong understanding of government approval processes, local regulations, and construction documentation.
- Proven experience working with municipal bodies and regulatory authorities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic knowledge of project documentation.
