A reputable logistics company is seeking reliable and motivated Independent Couriers to join our dynamic delivery network. As an independent courier, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of items to various locations. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to be your own boss while earning competitive pay.

Coverage is needed Monday through Friday starting at 5:00am. Carriers can expect to drive up to 185 miles per day. Drivers must be able to drive a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate to complete the route. The driver must have all the necessary licensing for the State of Maryland which includes a valid CDL A. The driver must be able to move upwards of 375 boxes per day with assistance; boxes can weigh up to 50lbs each.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide delivery service Monday through Thursday.

- Provide reliable vehicle and back up Driver

- Pick up and deliver packages to specified locations promptly.

- Ensure all deliveries are made in a safe and professional manner.

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer signatures.

- Handle packages with care and follow all company procedures.

Qualifications:

- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

- Must be 21 years of age.

- Liability Insurance Coverage of $100,000/$300,000/$100,000

- Own a reliable vehicle and have access to a back-up vehicle.

- Excellent time management and organizational skills.

- Professional representation, strong communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

- STAT Courier performs a motor vehicle records check and a criminal background check as part of the application process.

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
