THE OPPORTUNITY

Converge Condo Management is looking for an experienced, licensed Condo Manager to join our team in Calgary, AB. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 year’s experience managing condo portfolios in AB and a genuine passion for client service.

As a Condo Manager at Converge, you will be tasked with managing relationships with condo boards and vendors as a main priority. This includes overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and handling client concerns, among other items based on business needs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Working closely with the leadership team, you will:

  • Ensure all condominium corporation policies and procedures are effectively communicated and implemented
  • Manage day-to-day operations of condominium corporations and long-term financial and physical well-being of the condominium buildings
  • Liaison between Board members and contractors
  • Advise Boards with respect to professional consultants and fees, including legal counsel, insurance, brokers, appraisers, accounting firms, auditors and contractors
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable government regulations
  • Provide excellent client service experience to the Board and residents
  • Handle personal and sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner
  • Builds and maintains a network of sources from which identify new sales leads
  • Possess a strong understanding of accounting and ability to interpret financial data for condominiums but also internally managing the business operations for Converge in Calgary

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Licensed as a Condo Manager under RECA is considered to be an asset
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with a professional service firm is an asset
  • 4-year University degree is preferred, alongside demonstration of continuous personal growth
  • Ability to meet deadlines and works well under pressure, time-constraints and changing environments
  • Problem solving and decision-making ability, critical thinking with sound judgement
  • Possess business and financial acumen
  • Self-starter with strong time management skills
  • Proficiency with programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Google Applications
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for networking and growing sales
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers and vendors
  • Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Holds or willing to pursue a valid Condominium License through RECA

WORK CONDITIONS

  • Location: Hybrid – Calgary, AB (primarily remote, with on-site visits as required)

Flexibility to support occasional evening and weekend commitments will be required.
