Job Overview

First Generation Electric is growing, and we’re looking to add both Licensed Journeyman Electricians and Electrical Apprentices to our team.

We are looking for dependable, motivated people who take pride in their work and want to be part of a growing electrical company. Our work includes residential, commercial, renovations, new construction, service calls, troubleshooting, and electrical upgrades throughout Western Massachusetts.

Experience

Licensed Journeyman Electrician

• Valid Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician License required
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot electrical issues
• Residential and commercial experience preferred
• Ability to lead jobs and work with apprentices when needed

Electrical Apprentice

• Electrical experience or enrollment in an electrical apprenticeship program preferred
• Motivated to learn and work toward a Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician License
• Willingness to learn from experienced electricians
• Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Residential and commercial electrical installations
• Service calls and troubleshooting
• Panel installations and upgrades
• Wiring for renovations, additions, and new construction
• Installation of lighting, outlets, switches, circuits, and electrical equipment
• Read plans and follow job specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
• Follow Massachusetts electrical code and company standards
• Communicate professionally with customers and other team members

Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
