We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our growing private practice. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify mental health conditions.
• Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing therapeutic approaches such as psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
• Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute mental health emergencies effectively while ensuring client safety.
• Facilitate intake assessments and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with client needs and clinical best practices.
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management, discharge planning, and community resource linkage.
• Engage in clinical research initiatives to improve therapeutic techniques and contribute to evidence-based practice advancements.
• Provide specialized counseling for issues such as PTSD care, grief counseling, addiction recovery, gender issues counseling, working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), geriatrics, pediatrics, chronic pain management, and working within inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Utilize telehealth platforms to extend access to mental health services remotely while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Experience

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Indiana. We will accept associate license but this limits insurance contracts.
• Proven experience delivering clinical counseling in diverse settings such as outpatient clinics, hospitals, inpatient facilities, or community health programs.
• Demonstrated proficiency in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, social work practices, and crisis management techniques.
• Hands-on experience with medical terminology related to behavioral health and familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10).
• Strong background in working with children and adolescents as well as adults with complex mental health needs or disabilities.
• Experience utilizing telehealth technology for remote patient care delivery is preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards essential for maintaining confidentiality and legal compliance.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations involving crisis intervention or emergency response efficiently while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
