An opportunity has arisen for an Life and Pensions Administrator for our Financial Adviser. This is a key back office, support role based in our Northern Cross office (Dublin 17). You will be working closely with our Financial Adviser to help deliver our unique Investment advice service to our clients. This might suit somebody wishing to transit to part-time or re-enter the workforce on a part-time basis.
Who we are
We are a small Investment Advice and Financial Planning firm based in Northern Cross Dublin. All our business is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI)
The Role
- Contribute to the overall business goals by providing administration support to the Senior Financial Advisor.
- Support the Senior Financial Advisor with the administration needs of our Clients across Investment, Pensions and Risk products.
- Preparing annual portfolio reviews using in-house excel workbooks.
- Review client documentation to support the Senior Advisor with the preparation of technical reports, recommendations and new business applications.
- Responsible for ensuring all client communication and application updates are recorded on the CRM system.
- Responsible for ensuring individual compliance with policies and compliance standards.
- Work closely to assist in the sales process as required; ensuring the Clients best interests are at the forefront of all interactions.
- Proactively manage pipeline by liaising with Clients, Financial institutions, Life/Pension companies to gather outstanding information.
- Take responsibility for own development by undertaking activities to broaden experience and market knowledge.
Skills and requirements:
- Must have APA in Life, Investment or Pensions or working towards APA/QFA.
- Investment and pensions product knowledge is required.
- Financial planning experience is desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to multitask.
- Accuracy with a strong attention to detail and numeracy skill.
- Strong excel skills.
- Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Ability to work on own initiative and independently (after appropriate training period)
- Previous administration experience in a Brokerage and/or Financial Services (Sales/Product) firm required.
Remuneration & Benefits
Commensurate with experience
Schedule & Work Location:
Part-time – Monday to Friday – ideally 9am to 2pm but can be discussed. In person at our Northern Cross office.
