This role is an exciting opportunity to help grow with one of Irelands largest specialist lighting suppliers, working closely with the design team and the Manging Director.

The Successful candidate must have at least 1-2 years working in the field and have the below attributes:

• High Level IT skills - particularly Word and Excel
• Understand and evaluation project specifications and design drawings
• To evaluate tenders by reviewing and completing the tender forms and ensure they are within the given specifications
• To provide estimating expertise to compile compliant quotations
• Prepare and issue of quotes in line with the tender documentation received
• Obtaining estimates and prices from suppliers
• Responsible for maintaining professional working relationships with clients and sub-contractors
• Follow up tenders and assist with securing projects
• To understand the companies procurement process working with the MD to assist launching new supplies to the supply chain
• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction or electrical industry
• Strong knowledge of Lighting
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills to accurately estimate costs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project stakeholders, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with project management principles and practices
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Creating and ordering products from various suppliers
• Ensuring stock levels are correct and inline with the daily needs
• Arranging orders are shipped in line with project commencing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €55,000.00-€60,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Donabate, County Dublin: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Advanced/Higher Certificate (required)

Experience:

• Estimating: 1 year (required)
• Electrical: 1 year (required)
• Excel: 2 years (required)
