The Line Maintenance Stations Support Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of maintenance activities at various line maintenance stations. This role involves providing administrative, logistical, and technical support to maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining effective communication channels within the organization and with external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support:
- Assist in the preparation and management of maintenance schedules, ensuring that all maintenance activities are planned and executed efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and equipment usage.
- Prepare and submit reports on maintenance performance, delays, and any issues encountered.
- Logistical Coordination:
- Coordinate the movement and transportation of parts, tools, and equipment to various line maintenance stations.
- Ensure that all necessary materials and resources are available for maintenance teams to perform their tasks.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts and equipment.
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical assistance to maintenance teams, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Ensure that maintenance procedures are followed according to regulatory and company standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to address any technical problems or improvements required.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with aviation regulations and company policies.
- Participate in audits and inspections, addressing any findings and implementing corrective actions.
- Monitor and improve maintenance processes to enhance safety and efficiency.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for line maintenance stations, facilitating communication between the stations and the main office.
- Coordinate with flight operations, ground handling, and other departments to ensure seamless maintenance operations.
- Manage any issues or emergencies that arise at line maintenance stations, providing timely support and resolution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in aviation management, engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in aviation maintenance or a related support role.
- Strong understanding of aviation maintenance procedures and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
Working Conditions:
- This role may require occasional travel to various line maintenance stations.
- The position involves working in both office and on-site environments, with some exposure to aircraft maintenance areas.
- Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate maintenance schedules and urgent issues.
Reporting Structure:
- Reports to the Line Maintenance Manager.
- Collaborates closely with maintenance teams, engineering departments, and other relevant stakeholders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to €35,000.00 per year
