We’re after a qualified Line Mechanic Team Leader to lead a crew in Whakatāne. You’ll be hands-on in the field while keeping the team moving safely and efficiently. This is a full-time, permanent role working directly for the network owner – meaning long-term stability and no middleman.

You’ll be doing:

• Running a crew on the ground – leading from the front
• Planning jobs and making sure they’re done safely and on time
• Working closely with customers and other teams
• Mentoring younger techs and passing on your knowledge

What we’re looking for:

• Current EWRB practising licence + Line Mechanic trade
• 5+ years’ experience on the lines
• Solid fault response and distribution system knowledge
• Clear communicator who leads by example
