Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced LIHTC Lease Up Manager to oversee our property operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing tenant relations, ensuring high occupancy rates, and maintaining the overall quality of our properties. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of property management, and the ability to negotiate effectively with prospective tenants.

Duties

  • Manage the leasing process from start to finish, including marketing available units and conducting property tours.
  • Complete LIHTC applications in a timely manner
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with current tenants to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Handle tenant inquiries and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise.
  • Oversee property maintenance and coordinate with facilities management to ensure properties are well-maintained.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess condition and identify necessary repairs or improvements.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records related to leasing activities, tenant agreements, and property maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the real estate administrative team to ensure compliance with all local regulations, including Section 8 housing guidelines.
  • Negotiate lease agreements and terms with prospective tenants to maximize occupancy rates.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in LIHTC property management
  • Strong sales skills with a track record of successful tenant acquisition.
  • Excellent conflict management abilities with a focus on customer relationship management.
  • Knowledge of facilities management principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with real estate administrative tasks and regulations, particularly regarding Section 8 housing.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to negotiate effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple properties simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in office software applications related to property management.

Pay: $46,279.09 - $55,733.96 per year
