Medical Scribe (Part-Time)

Job Summary

Little Star Pediatric Urgent Care is seeking detail-oriented and experienced Medical Scribes to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidates will work closely with our pediatric providers to ensure accurate and efficient documentation of patient visits. Familiarity with the Experity EMR platform is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

- Document real-time patient-provider interactions, including medical histories, physical exams, and treatment plans.

- Accurately enter information into the Experity EMR system, ensuring compliance with documentation standards.

- Assist providers by managing electronic records, lab results, and imaging studies.

- Ensure documentation is completed in a timely manner, supporting the provider in maintaining workflow efficiency.

- Maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA standards in all interactions.

- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care and documentation.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a medical scribe, preferably in pediatric or urgent care settings.

- Proficiency with the Experity EMR platform is strongly preferred.

- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced clinical environment.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical workflows.

- Availability to work part-time shifts, including evenings and weekends.
