Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in various caregiving settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and hospice care. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively with seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
• Administer medication as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients' dietary needs
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
• Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals
• Support individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments through patience and understanding

Experience

• Previous experience in home care, senior care, or similar caregiving roles is preferred
• Familiarity with assisted living environments, nursing home procedures, and hospice care practices is beneficial
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus
• Knowledge of cleaning protocols and meal preparation techniques is essential
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.09-$26.85 per hour
