Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Homemaker to provide comprehensive in-home care for clients requiring assistance with daily activities. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in senior care, assisted living, or home health services. The Live-in Homemaker will be responsible for creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment, ensuring the well-being of clients with diverse needs including dementia, disabilities, or recovery from illness. Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and preferences
• Administer medications accurately and on schedule as prescribed by healthcare professionals
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces
• Support clients with mobility exercises or physical therapy routines as directed
• Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare providers
• Assist with activities that promote mental stimulation and social engagement
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to prevent accidents or injuries

Requirements

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home care, hospice care, or home health caregiving preferred
• Knowledge of patient care techniques, medication administration, and dementia care
• Ability to handle heavy lifting and assist with mobility needs safely
• Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and empathetic nature
• Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
• Ability to work independently in a live-in setting while maintaining professionalism
• Valid driver’s license preferred for transportation purposes if needed
• Certification in caregiving or related training is a plus but not mandatory

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Work Location: In person
