Assistant Superintendent

Qualifications:

• General understanding of building systems (plumbing, electrical, etc.).
• Good communication, writing and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of and experience in general property management policies and procedures.

Duties:

• Maintaining and enforcing all rules and regulations governing the building, including fire safety and security.
• Monitoring of all building mechanical and fire systems.
• Liaising with tenants and head office.
• Managing garbage bins and recycle bins.
• Small repairs as required.
• Maintenance of interior and exterior common areas.
• Removing snow and ice from pathways and walkways including salting.
• Able to work a flexible schedule and work evenings, weekends for snow removal.
• Assist the Board of Directors and Property Manager with the enforcement of rules, regulations, and by-laws of the Corporation.
• Other duties, as assigned.
• As much of the duties involve outdoor work, the ideal candidate would be comfortable working in inclement weather conditions. The employer provides suitable outdoor wear for seasonal maintenance.

Compensation

• Salary will be determined based on qualifications of the successful applicant.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $38,000.00 per year
