Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods across designated routes, ensuring timely arrivals.
• Load and unload items using equipment such as forklifts or manual handling techniques, adhering to safety protocols.
• Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Verify delivery details, obtain signatures or proof of delivery, and complete all necessary documentation accurately.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure optimal functioning throughout your shift.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety for yourself, colleagues, and the public.
• Assist in warehouse activities when not on delivery routes, including moving stock or preparing shipments for dispatch.

Experience

• Prior experience in commercial driving or delivery roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes.
• Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members.
• Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is advantageous but not required; training will be available.
• Valid driver’s license suitable for commercial driving; clean driving record preferred.

Pay: Up to $16.60 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 21.0 per week

Work Location: In person
