Loader/Equipment Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Loader Operator. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate various types of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a loader and excavator to bale and load
• Perform inspection and maintenance checks of equipment daily.
• Grease/lubricate equipment, check and add fluids to equipment daily
• Maintain appearance of the grounds and facility.
• Attend safety meetings.

Requirements:

• Successfully operate a loader and excavator.
• Ability to operate other heavy equipment an asset.
• Ability to obtain Transfer Station/Landfill Operations Certification if needed.
• Demonstrate ability to follow instructions and work under little supervision.
• Must be able to frequently lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.86-$37.52 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Loader operation: 1 year (required)

Language:

• English (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
