At Hunkemöller, we are on an exciting growth journey across the Nordics. We’re looking for a hands-on, commercially driven Local Marketing Specialist who will play a key role in accelerating our brand growth and driving store traffic in the region.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys combining creativity with execution and wants to make visible impact in a fast-paced international retail environment. You will connect our Global Marketing team with the Nordic markets, bringing campaigns to life locally while identifying opportunities that resonate with Nordic customers.

You take ownership, build strong relationships, and turn ideas into action, whether delivering store events end-to-end, managing micro-influencer collaborations, activating local partnerships, or supporting retail initiatives.

Based in Copenhagen, you will report into the Global Marketing team in the Netherlands and work closely with the Nordic Managing Director and regional retail teams. The role includes regular travel across the Nordics and occasional visits to HQ in the Netherlands.

What You’ll Do:

  • Local Campaign Activation: Work closely with the Global Marketing team to localize and activate brand campaigns across the Nordic markets to increase brand awareness and preference. You’ll ensure campaigns feel locally relevant while staying true to the Hunkemöller brand identity.
    • Adapt messaging, content, and channel execution to Nordic customer behaviour
    • Coordinate local campaign rollouts across retail and local touchpoints
    • Identify local media channel opportunities to further strengthen brand awareness and engagement
  • Retail & Local Brand Partnerships: You build strong local relationships that uncover opportunities to drive awareness and increase store traffic.
    • Collaborate with shopping malls and local retail partners
    • Support traffic-driving activities around key commercial moments
    • Build partnerships and barter collaborations that increase brand exposure to new customers and generate new demand
    • Ensure all local activations align with global brand guidelines
  • Store Openings & Local Events: You create impactful local activations that attract customers into our stores.
    • Coordinate local & global marketing support for store openings and retail events
    • Manage event planning and execution end-to-end together with retail and HQ stakeholders
    • Manage local suppliers and partners
    • Track results and share learnings for future activations
  • Micro-Influencer & Community Marketing: You strengthen brand connection through authentic local engagement.
    • Manage and grow a Nordic micro-influencer and ambassador network
    • Support local social content initiatives on Facebook in line with global direction
    • Build long-term relationships with creators and brand advocates
  • Market Insights & Performance Tracking: Act as the voice of the Nordic customer within the wider European marketing team and continuously improve performance.
    • Share local market insights, competitor activity, and customer trends with HQ
    • Track performance of local activities and optimize accordingly
    • Ensure cost-conscious execution within budget

What you bring:


Experience

  • Around 4–5 years of experience in (retail) marketing, ideally within fashion, lifestyle or beauty
  • Proven experience in executing local marketing campaigns and events
  • Experience working with influencers, partnerships, and/or social media activations
  • Strong understanding of retail marketing and customer behaviour in the Nordics
  • Experience working in an international or matrix organization is a plus

  • A proactive hands-on self-starter who enjoys ownership and execution
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Commercial mindset and able to balance creativity and results
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Curious about trends, culture, fashion/apparel, and consumer behaviour
  • Data-aware and able to translate insights into actions
  • Fluent in English and Danish or Swedish
