Job Title: Locker Room & Card Room Attendant

Department: Club Operations

Reports To: Assistant General Manager (AGM)

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

SUMMARY: Cleans and maintains all areas of the locker room and members’ shoes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Maintains cleanliness of all areas of the member’s locker rooms including emptying trash, dusting furniture, cleaning floors, sinks, mirrors, showers, restrooms, vacuuming, mopping, and picking up dirty linen.

· Maintains stock of items used by members including linen, paper goods, and toiletries.

· Cleans and polishes members’ shoes and places them in lockers.

· Assists members in locker selection, assigns keys, and logs information.

· Notifies accounts receivable clerk of locker assignments.

· Reports maintenance problems to the Director of Operations in a timely manner.

· Prepares a weekly supply inventory and forwards the requisition to the Director of Operations.

· Takes monthly locker inventory.

· Submits a weekly shoe-shine inventory to the Director of Operations.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Good spoken and written English skills. Must be able to write grammatically correct.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop or kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust to focus.

This is a member-facing, hands-on role based in the Men’s Locker Room. Team-oriented environment with high standards for service and presentation. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
