AMS Diagnostics based in Cork City is launching its new Ultrasound service in early January 2026. This is a new service & will complement its existing suite of other diagnostic services it provides to referring GP's and their patients within the Cork & Munster region.

We are seeking a part-time CORU-registered Radiographer with ultrasound experience to join our team on a part-time basis. It is envisaged that this will require 1 day per week initially and expand overtime.

You will work as a Clinical Specialist Radiographer in Ultrasound, performing a wide range of scans (abdomen, pelvis, small parts & carotid doppler)

Key responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations independently.
• Provide clear, accurate measurements for the Consultant Radiologist.
• Ensure excellent patient care and communication throughout the patient pathway.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, audit, and CPD activities as required.

Key Requirements:

• CORU registration (essential).
• Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma in Medical Ultrasound (or equivalent).
• At least 1–2 years’ experience as a practicing Sonographer / Ultrasound Radiographer.
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: €60.00-€70.00 per hour
