Position Overview

We are seeking a driven Freight Broker to join our team. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who shows ambition, professionalism, and a strong work ethic. You will play a key role in coordinating freight movement, building carrier relationships, and ensuring exceptional service for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers
• Source, negotiate, and book freight
• Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments
• Track shipments and provide timely updates
• Grow and manage a reliable carrier network
• Maintain detailed records of transactions and communications
• Troubleshoot delays or issues to ensure smooth deliveries
• Work toward and exceed monthly sales/margin goals

Qualifications

• Experience as a Freight Broker, Dispatcher, or in logistics is preferred
• Willing to train candidates with strong motivation and communication skills
• Excellent negotiation and customer service abilities
• Ability to multitask and handle fast-moving freight
• Familiarity with load boards and TMS systems is a plus
• Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
