Job description:

We are looking for a reliable Logistics Coordinator to work as part of our dispatch team. You will receive requests, transmit messages, track vehicles, and communicate regularly with company drivers. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator and able to remain calm and composed. You must be able to multi-task as well as take the appropriate action with little supervision. The goal is to enable different parties to communicate well by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of information. Ability to fluently learn or work within computer systems is required.

Responsibilities:

• Enter load data in Excel, Google Sheets, and McLeod
• Create trip packets for drivers including load information, BOL, departure time, and delivery schedule
• Review load information to ensure accuracy before closing out orders
• Build loads in McLeod with pick-up time, delivery times, purchase order numbers, and pick up numbers that each load requires
• Communicating and providing updates to customers on load status via phone, email, or website
• Dispatch local deliveries, outbound loads, and/or schedule appointments
• Willingness to work every 4th weekend

Required Qualifications:

• Strong communication and listening skills
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize
• Experience using third party dispatching software (McLeod), MS Excel, Word and E-mail
• Willingness to be trained and learn. Prior Dispatch experience preferred

We are seeking an individual to join our dispatch team that has prior experience with dispatching, scheduling, and coordinating deliveries.

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
