Job brief

Lev-co is looking for logistics coordinator to be responsible for the overall supply chain management. The logistics manager responsibilities include organizing and monitoring and distribution of shipping and production. The goal is to manage the entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction at or above our current trust pilot rating of + 4.8.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically monitor, plan and manage logistics relating to all orders
  • This includes purchasing, warehousing, production, transportation.
  • Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
  • Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
  • Comply with laws, regulations and best practices
  • Ensure materials are delivered to sites in a timely manner as per clients’ criteria
  • Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing or carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications and costs

Requirements

  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
  • Proficient in standard logistics software

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
