We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team and help drive our continued success.

Position Overview:
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our freight transportation processes. You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing carrier relationships and, resolving logistical issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the transportation industry, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods from origin to destination, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Act as a point of contact for our carrier network, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to secure competitive pricing and optimize transportation costs.
• Track shipments and provide real-time updates to customers on the status of their orders.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and other logistics-related documentation.
• Identify potential problems or delays in the supply chain and work with stakeholders to find solutions.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of all shipments.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, shippers, and other logistics partners.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or freight brokerage (1-2 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of freight shipping processes, including LTL, FTL, and intermodal transportation.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships with our carrier network and communicate with our clients when necessary.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with TMS (Transportation Management Software) is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
