Onyx-Fire Protection Services is a rapidly expanding and hiring for a Logistics Coordinator, you will work closely with the Construction Manager and Warehouse Manager input.

The Logistics Coordinator will assist with the dispatching and work order assignment to the appropriate driver.

This will include but not be limited to, the opening the task in proprietary software. Communicating with road supervisors, field technicians and operations personnel. Closing and updating tasks, issuing purchase orders to equipment rental suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Answer all incoming calls from field technicians related to deliveries of material and equipment, ensuring calls are returned promptly.
• Provide administrative support of both the Construction Manager and Warehouse manager.
• Work with Construction Manager and Warehouse manager to schedule supplier pick ups.
• Communicate with construction team in daily meetings to ensure run lists are in synch with site timelines
• Daily review of picked material prior to loading delivery trucks
• Assisting with loading as necessary for next day’s deliveries
• Emergency deliveries to sites as needed
• Ensure all service jobs include the proper documentation and records
• Assist with returns documentation and parts management as required by the
• Vendor.
• Create and manage Purchase Orders for vendors.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 + years' working experience in a customer service or administrator role.
• A technical background, in the construction industry
• Experience in all aspects of customer service and people management.
• Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work well under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
• Previous industry knowledge
• Valid G License
• Clean Drivers Abstract

Working Conditions:

• Office/Warehouse/Shop floor environment.
• Exposure to cold/heat
• Ability to lift to 50lbs.
