Overview

We are seeking an organised, proactive, and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our client’s operation. This is a busy and varied role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage logistics activities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing stock levels and overseeing inventory control
  • Processing orders, coordinating fulfilment, and scheduling deliveries
  • Planning and coordinating inbound and outbound shipments
  • Monitoring consignments and ensuring on-time delivery
  • Maintaining accurate records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Managing cost accruals and supporting job pricing activities
  • Ensuring the smooth flow of goods while controlling operational costs
  • Communicating with suppliers, transport partners, and internal departments
  • Supporting customer requirements and resolving delivery-related issues
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships across the business
  • Monitoring subcontractor performance and reviewing service standards
  • Investigating and resolving shipment discrepancies and queries
  • Preparing, reviewing, and processing shipping documentation and invoices
  • Ensuring compliance with Quality Management Systems and Health & Safety procedures
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain

Skills & Experience

  • Fluency in spoken and written English is essential
  • Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or freight forwarding
  • Good understanding of supply chain and distribution processes
  • Confident IT user with experience of WMS or similar systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
  • Customer-focused with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and relevant industry regulations
  • Full Irish driving licence and access to a vehicle required due to limited public transport options

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €40,000.00 per year
