Overview
We are seeking an organised, proactive, and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our client’s operation. This is a busy and varied role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage logistics activities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing stock levels and overseeing inventory control
- Processing orders, coordinating fulfilment, and scheduling deliveries
- Planning and coordinating inbound and outbound shipments
- Monitoring consignments and ensuring on-time delivery
- Maintaining accurate records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Managing cost accruals and supporting job pricing activities
- Ensuring the smooth flow of goods while controlling operational costs
- Communicating with suppliers, transport partners, and internal departments
- Supporting customer requirements and resolving delivery-related issues
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships across the business
- Monitoring subcontractor performance and reviewing service standards
- Investigating and resolving shipment discrepancies and queries
- Preparing, reviewing, and processing shipping documentation and invoices
- Ensuring compliance with Quality Management Systems and Health & Safety procedures
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain
Skills & Experience
- Fluency in spoken and written English is essential
- Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or freight forwarding
- Good understanding of supply chain and distribution processes
- Confident IT user with experience of WMS or similar systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
- Customer-focused with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of ISO standards and relevant industry regulations
- Full Irish driving licence and access to a vehicle required due to limited public transport options
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €40,000.00 per year
