Position Accountabilities & Activities

Pick‑Up and Delivery

· Review daily run‑sheet and whiteboard prior to commencing deliveries or pickups.

· Conduct pre‑departure vehicle inspections and report any issues.

· Safely load items using correct tie‑down and securing methods.

· Transport, unload, and deliver freight in a manner that prevents damage, spoilage, or loss.

· Follow all customer‑specific delivery instructions agreed prior to dispatch.

· Maintain accurate documentation, including delivery signatures on Job Cards and Consignment Notes.

· Adhere to scheduled routes and timeframes.

· Navigate efficiently using approved map applications.

· Select optimal routes considering traffic, construction, and other environmental factors.

Safety

· Follow best‑practice safety procedures during driving, loading, and unloading.

· Immediately notify the Store Manager of any accidents, incidents, or hazards encountered while off‑site.

Professional Packing

· Follow PACK & SEND’s packing standards, guidelines, and approved methods.

· Pack, weigh, measure, and label items for shipment or storage.

· Use packing tools and materials correctly, including hand tools, adhesives, cushioning materials, and pallet jacks.

· Maintain a clean, organised, and safe packing and warehouse area.

Training

· Complete all required e‑Learning modules, webinars, and competency‑based training.

· Apply newly acquired skills to improve packing quality, customer service, and operational efficiency.

Compliance & Safety

· Apply PACK & SEND’s WH&S policies at all times.

· Conduct duties in accordance with the PACK & SEND Code of Conduct, ensuring professionalism, brand integrity, and respectful customer interactions.

· Follow all operational procedures, including freight handling, documentation, and customer communication standards.

Position Qualifications, Skills and Professional Experience

Qualifications

· Completion of High School (Year 12 or equivalent).

· Valid Australian Driver’s Licence.

· Experience

· Experience in a fast‑paced retail, logistics, or customer‑service environment.

· Experience coordinating or supporting team activities (desirable).

Skills

· Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

· High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

· Ability to follow structured processes and adapt to operational changes.

Employment Options

Pay: $28.60 – $33.00 per hour
