As we continue to expand, we are looking for an immediate and permanent candidate for our Italian office in Vimercate.
Logistics Employee (f/m)
Your responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate transportation routes
- Provide instruction and documents to warehouse and transport companies
- Provide documents for customs’s clearances
- Monitor and track shipment status of goods according to customer requirements.
- Communicate with transport companies and solve transportation issues.
- Negotiate transport or logistics rates with suppliers and customers in order to Minimize costs.
- Manage warehouse staff to ensure proper shipping and storage of supplies.
- Provide assistance for maintaining logistics planning tasks
What we like about you:
- Professional experience and industry knowledge in chemistry are an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and high self-motivation
- Good knowledge of MS-Office Suite
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central is a plus, general ERP experience a must.
- Self-initiated and independent work
