Logistics Manager
OUR ROLE
We are looking for a Logistics Manager to join our DC in Hämeenlinna. You collaborate closely with various teams and you’ll join a global community that values creativity, curiosity, and teamwork.
The full-time, in-office position is based in our distribution center in Hämeenlinna, Finland and reports to Director, Logistics Europe and Australia.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As Logistics Manager, you will lead the Hämeenlinna Distribution Center operations, and drive operational excellence, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement in Logistics. The DC plays a critical role in serving both direct-to-consumer and wholesale customers across Europe, as well as supporting regional warehouses globally. You will work with beloved and iconic brands such as Iittala, Moomin Arabia, and Fiskars, and collaborate closely with Sales teams across multiple markets to meet business targets. You are part of the Europe Logistics team.
Key responsibilities:
  • Lead Hämeenlinna distribution center operations including the office team and 50+ operatives
  • Manage logistics costs efficiently, and drive continuous improvements according to Fiskars Group targets and principles
  • Promote a strong health and safety culture, ensuring full compliance of all safety guidelines
  • Oversee logistics service providers linked to DC operations and freight, and ensure their daily operational performance
  • Collaborate with Sales and Business Areas to meet agreed service level and business targets
  • Ensure DC is compliant with ISO or other relevant certifications
WHO YOU ARE
You are strong logistics professional with E2E supply chain understanding and proven track record of managing DC operations or other large-scale supply chain functions. You are an experienced leader, with ability to both inspire teams and drive performance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in engineering, business or related field
  • 5+ years in a logistics or supply chain role with similar responsibilities
  • Proven experience in managing operational teams
  • Solid background in health and safety management within supply chain operations
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, especially in cross-functional and international environments
  • Familiar with ERP and WMS systems and analytics tools. especially SAP
  • Finnish and English as daily working languages
