Logistics Sales Executive is a senior-level role responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies for a company's logistics services.

The Senior Sales Executive will execute the company’s market strategy and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics or transportation sales, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. This role requires a strong understanding of the logistics industry, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a proven track record in freight sales and customer relationship management. This is a high-impact, highly visible role that requires a strategic, analytical, and results-driven salesperson.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, qualify, and secure new freight brokerage customers through outbound calls, networking, and industry research.
  • Utilize CRM to track sales activities, forecast revenue, and manage client interactions.
  • Identify client needs and present tailored solutions that align with their logistics needs.
  • Stay current with market trends, rate fluctuations, and capacity issues in various lanes.
  • Work cross-functionally with operations to ensure proper load coverage, tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue and margin targets.

Background Profile:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales within the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Proven ability to build a book of business and close new accounts.
  • Working knowledge of freight types (e.g., dry van, reefer, flatbed) and logistics software (e.g., TMS, DAT, Truckstop).
  • Self-starter with strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop long-term relationships with high-profile clients and decision-makers.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.

Compensation Competitive base salary with uncapped incentive compensation structure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
