Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Technician to join our fast-paced warehouse operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the Pouch Sorter activity ensuring the mechanization runs efficiently through analyses of workload, order allocation and waving & providing recommendations on labour balancing and indicating where troubleshooting of the warehouse and automation management system is required.
Responsibilities :
- Monitor Pouch Sorter and Automation looking for errors in the system
- Identify errors in the system and promptly call Sr. Technician and B2C Management
- Create IT Tickets and escalate errors in system associated with down time
- Ensures timely & accurate completion of tasks and proactively plan for future projects
- Ensure the equipment or tools are good to use, not past due maintenance or calibration
- Evaluate automation performance and make informed decisions on waving and releasing orders
- Evaluate automation bottle necks and communicate with Senior Technician and Logistic Coordinator
- Assist with physical inventories, cycle counts and inventory reconciliation
- Report any process anomaly or operating supply shortages to operations management
- Communicate continuous improvements and suggestions to management
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Computer Skills
- Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and automation
- Strong proficiency of MS Office (Outlook and Excel)
Communication Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills on all levels
Organizational Skills
- Strong organizational, task prioritizing, and time management skills
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented environment where a high degree of flexibility is required.
- Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills
- Analytical and Detail Oriented.
MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma
- Experience or education in a warehouse work environment preferred
- Engineering, computer science or related technical degree preferred
- Minimum 1 years 3PL automation experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
