Responsible to: Warehouse Manager and / or approved Company designate

Main Location: Cork, but the postholder may be required to visit other sites for the

satisfactory performance of their duties and responsibilities.

Normal Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, with a one-hour unpaid break. Additional hours may be required to meet the demands of the business

We are looking for an organised and proactive Logistics Executive with strong reporting skills and a background in warehouse operations to join our team. This role combines administrative duties with hands-on supervision, ensuring smooth and efficient daily logistics activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative & Reporting:

  • Maintain and update logistics and warehouse databases (e.g., stock levels, inbound/outbound movements)
  • Prepare regular reports (KPIs, stock reports, delivery performance, etc.)
  • Generate documentation including delivery notes, manifests, invoices, and compliance records
  • Support internal teams with logistics data and reporting needs
  • Liaise with carriers, suppliers, customers and internal Management

Supervisory & Operational Support:

  • Assisting with setting up and operating a new additional warehouse facility in cork
  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities to ensure targets and deadlines are met
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate stock handling and order fulfilment
  • Assist in planning deliveries and collections to optimise efficiency
  • Ensure health & safety and operational procedures are being followed
  • Support training and development of warehouse staff where needed

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain environments
  • Strong administrative and reporting skills (Excel proficiency essential)
  • Good working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Experience in a supervisory or team lead role is desirable
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Azyra, Infor etc.)
  • Familiarity with transport/logistics compliance
