Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Driver to join our transportation team. As a Long Haul Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over long distances, ensuring timely and safe delivery to various locations. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Duties:

- Operate commercial vehicles, such as tractor-trailers, to transport goods and materials

- Plan routes and schedules to ensure on-time delivery

- Load and unload freight using heavy equipment, such as forklifts

- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance or repair needs

- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members

Requirements:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record

- Proven experience as a long haul driver or similar role

- Proficient in operating heavy equipment, such as forklifts

- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures

- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers and team member
