Description and Requirements

  • Assist in the implementation of SCDF’s smart initiatives, which entail the issuance of smart devices such as tablets, smart phones, smartwatches and BWC (Body Worn Camera).
  • Assist in managing of deploying a suite of mobile apps to paramedics and frontline officers. Co-ordination must be done beforehand with HTX (SPF side) and SCDF CD Ops Systems.
  • Liaise with HTX (SPF Counterpart) and SCDF CD Ops Systems for onboarding, offboarding of users, apps, SPFONE account administration and policies onto SCDF smart devices to always ensure Force-wide capability.
  • Assist in Operations planning and supports.
  • Assist in tracking, monitoring, and reporting (monthly meetings, written reports, reporting at Board meeting, etc.) over SCDF’s smart devices.
  • Documentation – ensure that all documents are up to date (Monthly Service Performance Report as specified in the Mobile Device Scope of Work, Asset Inventory, Escalation Matrix, Standard Operating Procedures, and ad-hoc reports in relation to mobile device project activity.
  • Assist in Tech Refresh planning and execution – monitor and renew hardware and software before EOL.
  • Assist and monitor in ensuring procedures for asset management (loss, repair, replacement, systems maintenance) are in-place.
  • Suggests on improving SCDF’s continued foray into Smart Technology to sharpen SCDF’s operations.
  • Other ad-hoc initiatives and projects that are assign by supervisors.
