About this Role

Our experienced Head teacher and her supportive senior leadership team are looking for 2 lunchtime play leaders to join their growing team . This role is term time only, 39 weeks per year, working Monday - Friday between 12.00pm - 1.15pm. These positions are fixed term until 31st August 2025.

Main Purpose of the job:
Responsible, under the direction of the Head Teacher or other nominated officer, either individually or as part of a team, for securing the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the lunchtime period, in accordance with agreed practices and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:
Undertake direct supervision of pupils in designated areas.
Assist with daily decision on areas for pupil use, e.g.: wet lunchtimes.
Promote and ensure schools rules regarding games are met and that health and safety procedures are maintained.
Assist pupils in the dining areas or playground.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
