Job Description
The Operations & Partnering team work alongside the business units in identifying, prioritising and delivering Technology, Digital and Data initiatives that align with our business strategy, deliver value to Ampol Group and track the contribution each initiative makes, while ensuring smooth operations by providing reliable support, resolving issues quickly and improve service quality to minimise disruptions.
The Digital Experience Specialist provides first-level technical support for end user devices and services, ensuring a positive digital experience by assisting users with desktop, mobile, and video conferencing issues, both on-site and remotely.
This role will require you to be in the office 5 days a week.
You will have the opportunity to
- Provide first level desktop technical IT support for all users, ensuring prompt resolution of hardware and software issues.
- Offer face-to-face on-site and remote support to users, assisting with end-user services such as computers, phones tablets, and video conferencing facilities.
- Guide users in effectively utilizing end-user devices and technologies to enhance their digital experience and productivity
- Assist in troubleshooting and escalating issues to higher-level support as needed, ensuring timely resolution of user inquiries and concerns.
- Test releases & enhancements to the employee experience
- Data Analysis: Identify trends, and contribute to different solutions
Qualifications
What you’ll bring to Z
Demonstrated experience in providing 1st level desktop support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with end-user devices (computers, phones, tablets),
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to assist users both face to face and remotely ensuring a positive user experience.
- Familiarity with M365 tools e.g (Outlook, Teams Office apps) and video conferencing technologies
- Relevant certifications or coursework in IT support, such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop
- A self directed approach to learning and development
- Experience supporting a range of device end points
- Experience supporting both Wi-Fi and cable internet connections, ensuring stable and efficient network access for end users

The base salary range for this role is $73,500 - $86,450 per annum, plus 10% STI based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross.
