About Schneider Digital:
All IT needs for SE are managed by a group called Schneider Digital (SD); spread across 303 locations in 60 countries with over 2300 staff; along with various engagements with all major Global IT Service Providers

Mission

This role reports to the Europe Finance DevOps Director, inside Europe - Enterprise IT organization. The main responsibilities are:
  • She/he will take responsibility for leading the preparation and execution of all aspects of Mergers, Acquisitions and Disposals within the Europe Region of Schneider Electric, in a holistic approach
  • She/He will be accountable for driving and leading several technical project managers to ensure planned activities, deadlines and completion of projects tasks with key metrics of time & cost.
  • She/He will manage the communication in a proactive way with the key stakeholders: M&A, business, Digital stakeholders
  • She/He will maintain all M&A governance and process documentation to ensure transparency, planning and reporting within all current M&A execution deals (Transition Service Agreement or Post Merger Integration).
  • She/he will be the functional leader for the senior technological experts in the team
Transversal scope of IT subjects: Applications, ERP. Infrastructure(servers, network, Cloud,VoIP). Employee Experience (PC, mobiles, assets, EndPoint, ServiceDesk, O365) etc.

Key Responsabilities

  • Lead the preparation and execution of all aspects of Mergers, Acquisitions and Disposals in a holistic approach
    • Assure alignment and standardization in the solution proposed across Europe
    • Support new demands/projects from pre-study to production
    • Ensure a right transfer to running teams
    • Qualify demands, approve proposed solution and quotation from delivery teams
    • Manage pre-study’s for the needed demands in terms of effort / cost / schedule / resources plan
    • Source appropriately the expertise needs (resources needed),by proposing internal and/or external profiles. Manage the expert’s allocation assignment to the right initiative.
    • Guarantee an homogeneous deployment methodology, to leverage the best competencies, processes so as to be able to accelerate delivery and Scale up

  • Accountable for driving and leading several technical project managers to ensure planned activities, deadlines and completion of projects tasks with key metrics of time & cost.
    • Manage the full portfolio of demands/projects and accountable in their delivery, in common prioritization with Finance and M&A streams
    • Responsible to following up project status and risk migration when escalation needed
    • Build and drive a strong governance so as to assure frequent communication and status are shared, managed and solved quickly.
    • Coach the PMs for efficiency and growth.
    • Manage the projects financial aspect within Europe IT Budget, ensure efficient billing and recharges.

  • Manage the communication in a proactive way with the key stakeholders: M&A, business, Digital stakeholders, internal team members
    • Create the needed governance (animation meetings, written communication) so assure that all needed stakeholders have a forum to share, debate, discuss, agree on priorities.
    • Maintain and update a consolidated roadmap with key milestones, with project status
    • Manage the communication with country BRMs to inform them about local activities – create feeling of partnership.

  • Maintain all M&A governance and process documentation to ensure transparency, planning and reporting within all current M&A execution deals (Transition Service Agreement or Post Merger Integration).
    • In charge to build/scale up the methodology for accelerating delivery
    • Making the assigned experts grow (consultants, PMs, others, SE technological partners) – propose strategies (senior/junior, mirroring, others?)
  • Being the functional manager for the senior technological experts in the team
    • Animate the community. Make sure there a team spirit and goals synchronization.
    • Organize the operating model (ways of working – Roles and Responsibilities)
    • Manage team engagement, performance, competency and development. Support them in their visibility and grow
    • Coach and care
Qualifications:
Requirements

  • Education
    • Academic degree in computer science or IT specialization from a business school or university. Alternatively, financial background with IT experience.
  • Job Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with operations and/or support in a fast-moving, highly-critical, enterprise application environment
  • Technical Skills
    • Broad IT knowledge and experience
    • Coordination of resources, leading heterogeneus teams
    • Significant experience and knowledge as Program Manager in ERPs area, managing roadmaps, budgets, projects follow up
  • Soft skills
    • Self-driven, operationally experienced with a can-do attitude. Autonomous to drive improvements and evolutions in a proactive way. Leadership skills
    • Strong relationship builder – both internally in Schneider Digital and business as well as with external partners.
    • Relationships to be managed at senior leadership level in the organization
    • Excellent Communication skills, professional courtesy, keeps calm at stress levels
    • Strong team player - collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
    • Has experience working with others on a global basis
    • Managerial skills with an international team to be managed
