Job Summary
As a Machine Operator, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our raw milk area. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining product quality, supporting food safety initiatives, and contributing to overall plant operations. Duties

• Operate battery-powered and hand pallet trucks safely.
• Operate pumps, milk separator, and blenders.
• Receive trucks and collect samples following quality and safety standards.
• Scan product into the WMS system, reconcile data with palletizing reports.
• Review, print and verify labels for SKU’s being packed.
• Review, record, and verify lot numbers.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the designated work area in accordance with GMP requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance care of Forklifts and related equipment, as trained.
• Follow all Food Safety & Quality requirements as outlined in SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and other training materials provided, including accurate record keeping.
• Support the monitoring and maintenance of the Quality, Food Safety and SQF systems.
• Attend prescribed courses and training as required.
• Perform other related duties as required, consistent with the position and training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant dairy or food manufacturing experience is an asset.
• Minimum two (2) years of machine operating experience, preferably in a food or beverage production environment.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), CIP systems, and HACCP principles.
• Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with automated machinery and computer‑based systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Physically capable of performing job duties, including standing, lifting, and multitasking in a production setting.
• Flexibility to work various shifts based on operational needs, in accordance with the Ontario Employment Standards Act (ESA).

Experience

• food or beverage production: 2 years (preferred)
• machine operating: 2 years (preferred)

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
