Machine Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery and ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of precision measuring instruments and quality control standards to maintain high-quality output.

Duties

• Operate and monitor machinery, including lathes and assembly line equipment, to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products.
• Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to identify any defects or deviations from specifications.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organization within the workspace.
• Perform basic maintenance on machines, including tooling adjustments and troubleshooting minor issues.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety protocols.
• Operate forklifts as needed for materials handling and transportation within the facility.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and standards in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with materials handling techniques and safe forklift operation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of welding techniques is beneficial but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
