An opportunity has arisen at our Kawerau site for a Tissue Manufacturing Machine Operator on Paper Machine 2. This vacancy is a waged position, covered by the Pulp & Paper Collective Agreement. The 24/7 nature of our industry requires the applicants to be available to work rotating shifts.

About the Role

The Machine Operator will work within Essity safety standards to operate the machine processes and equipment efficiently. The MO will be able to consistently apply necessary standards to keep the process under control, understanding the operation and equipment, what it does/how it works, and be able to perform simple maintenance tasks.

Who you Are

• Previous experience in FMCG or Papermaking would be advantageous.
• Must be available to work shift work (rotating rosters)
• Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Reliable and conscientious
• Computer literate
• Hold Crane and Forklift licences
