We are searching for a highly motivated Machine Operator (Softgel) based in our head office and manufacturing plant located in Burnaby, B.C.

We are seeking skilled and experienced Machine Operators to join our team in the production of health foods, specifically softgel. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining production equipment to ensure the efficient and high-quality manufacturing of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment.
• Set up machinery according to product specifications, ensuring proper settings for dosages, fillings, and machine speed.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor the production process, making adjustments as needed to maintain product quality and output efficiency.
• Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specified standards and regulations.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, resolve minor mechanical problems, and escalate complex issues to the maintenance team.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Record production data, including quantities produced, machine downtime, and any issues encountered.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical certifications or vocational training in machine operation or manufacturing is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Machine Operator in the production of softgel.
• Familiarity with operating and troubleshooting softgel encapsulation machines machines is highly desired.
• Strong technical skills and the ability to understand and interpret technical manuals and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Understanding of quality control principles and experience in conducting inspections and quality checks.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Fluent Korean is a great asset.
