Machine Operator/General Labourer

M.B.C. Rotomould is a growing rotational moulding manufacturing company located in Newmarket, Ontario for over 35 years. We are a small family owned business that treat our employees like family.

We are looking for full-time production machine operators to start immediately. You are a team player, pay attention to detail, self motivated and can work quickly, safely and with minimal supervision.

Job Duties

You will be responsible to:

• Operate machines
• Trouble shoot
• Set up and adjust machines as needed
• Ensure quality production
• Product assembly
• Perform quality inspection
• Complete production and quality documentation
• Trim parts of excessive plastic (as per customer requirements)
• Prepare product to ship to customer
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Other work as assigned

Skills and Knowledge

You must have the ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English

Manufacturing experience & use of basic hand tools would be an asset

You must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Full training is provided. You must supply own safety shoes or boots. All other equipment is supplied by M.B.C. Rotomould.

Day Shift

Monday to Friday - 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Salary - $20.50/hour with review after 3 months.

Afternoon Shift

Monday to Thursday - 3:15 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Salary - $21.50/hour with review after 3 months.

Job Location:

• Newmarket, ON – Davis Drive & Harry Walker Parkway
• Own transportation required as buses do not run after shift is complete

Required education:

• High school or equivalent
