Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team at Best Western. In this role, located in the United States, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our hotel facilities. Your contributions will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of service that our guests expect.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the hotel facilities are in optimal condition.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests.
• Conduct inspections of hotel equipment and systems to identify potential issues.
• Assist with repairs related to electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory supplies.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to support overall hotel operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance.
• Strong electrical skills with the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot issues.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Experience with residential painting and general repair work is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Leadership experience is beneficial but not required.

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
