Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to perform general repair and maintenance duties for our property. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems and will help ensure the smooth and safe operation of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing systems, electrical fixtures, and HVAC units.
- Conduct inspections of the facility to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Handle basic carpentry, painting, and minor construction work.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or guests.
- Maintain and repair tools and equipment.
- Keep maintenance logs and report usage of equipment and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Assist external contractors when required for specialized repairs.
- Perform emergency repairs as needed to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in general maintenance or a similar role (hotel/hospitality experience preferred).
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physically fit and able to lift, climb, and perform manual tasks.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
