Maintenance Assistant - Dublin based (part-time)
We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Maintenance Assistant to join our team. In this position, the role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks, repairs, and general upkeep to maintain a safe and functional environment.
Skills, Requirements and Responsibilities;
- Responsible for the maintenance of our properties, compiling standard specifications /procedures for each item.
- Responsible for specifying and purchasing the most suitable material to execute the maintenance. Attends, schedules, and facilitates internal meetings to help establish priorities and assign tasks
- Examine customers’ appliances and identify the cause of appliance breakdowns.
- Provide rough estimates to customers on how much it would cost to repair damaged or malfunctioning appliances.
- Repair or replace defective or damaged appliance components upon approval from customers.
- Advise customers on how to use appliances correctly.
- The ability to use various hand tools.
- Perform painting tasks, including surface preparation, priming, and finishing to maintain aesthetics and protection of walls, furniture, and outdoor areas.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
