Maintenance Assistant - Dublin based (part-time)

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Maintenance Assistant to join our team. In this position, the role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks, repairs, and general upkeep to maintain a safe and functional environment.

Skills, Requirements and Responsibilities;

• Responsible for the maintenance of our properties, compiling standard specifications /procedures for each item.
• Responsible for specifying and purchasing the most suitable material to execute the maintenance.
• Attends, schedules, and facilitates internal meetings to help establish priorities and assign tasks
  
• Examine customers’ appliances and identify the cause of appliance breakdowns.
  
• Provide rough estimates to customers on how much it would cost to repair damaged or malfunctioning appliances.
• Repair or replace defective or damaged appliance components upon approval from customers.
• Advise customers on how to use appliances correctly.
  
• The ability to use various hand tools.
  
• Perform painting tasks, including surface preparation, priming, and finishing to maintain aesthetics and protection of walls, furniture, and outdoor areas.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
