Job Title: Maintenance Engineer/Technician

Shift: Evening Shift (2-10 Wednesday & Thursday) (Part-Time)

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer/Technician to join our dynamic team at Carlow Brewing. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the efficiency of our brewery equipment during the evening shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on brewery and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure all equipment is operating at optimal levels.
• Collaborate with the brewing and packaging team to identify and address any technical challenges that may arise during the brewing and packaging process.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and document all repairs and inspections.
• Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and protocols.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a maintenance engineer/technician, preferably in a brewery or similar industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Flexibility to work evening shifts.
• Relevant technical certifications or qualifications are a plus.
