Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Day Shift Maintenance Fitter to join our team at Wacol. Reporting to the Operations and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for repair, testing and preventive maintenance and testing of machines with a strong emphasis on all safety and quality standards of Ausreo within a manufacturing environment. The role will also include but will not be limited to the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• Maintain site machinery to ensure safety of personnel, site and equipment
• Carry out repair, testing & preventive maintenance and testing of machines and equipment including:
• Hydraulics, pneumatics, valves
• Gearboxes and bearings
• Rollers, conveyors, pulleys etc.
• Fault-finding and repairing malfunctions of mechanical equipment and plant

To Be Successful

• Trade Qualifications in Mechanical Fitting
• Experience preferred in Reinforcing Steel or similar industry such as manufacturing (training provided)
• Strong Work Ethic and Reliable
• Safety conscience
• Available to work 7am-3:30pm
• Good communication skills and the ability to work successfully individually and as part of a team
• High Risk Forklift ticket will be highly regarded
• EWP Ticket will be highly regarded
