Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Handyman/woman to join our team, responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and safety of our manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment and systems. Leadership qualities and supervisory experience are a plus, as this role may involve overseeing maintenance activities and guiding team members. The Maintenance Handyman/woman will play a key role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics and technical manuals
• Conduct welding repairs and other mechanical fixes as needed
• Maintain electrical systems including wiring, circuit breakers, and control panels
• Follow safety protocols to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company policies
• Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities and repairs
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability
• Ensure facilities are clean, safe, and well-organized for optimal operations

Skills

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
• Electrical experience including wiring, troubleshooting circuits, and control systems
• Welding skills for metal repairs and fabrication tasks
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Leadership qualities with supervisory or team-leading experience preferred
• Good communication skills in English for effective collaboration with team members and management
• Customer service mindset to address internal client needs professionally

Pay: $17.84-$22.00 per hour
