Job description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive full time Maintenance Manager to lead the day-to-day maintenance operations of the hotel. The successful candidate will ensure that all facilities, rooms, infinity pool, hot tubs and equipment are maintained to the highest standards while complying with health and safety and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be a proud ambassador for Bellinter House Hotel & Bathhouse Spa.

Key responsibilities for the role will include:

· Oversee all hotel maintenance and repair work, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general building upkeep.

· Manage preventative maintenance programs to minimise downtime and disruptions.

· Lead, train and supervise the maintenance team.

· Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.

· Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas and back-of-house facilities

· Conduct regular inspections of thermal areas, spa pools on site, equipment and water quality and record all these inspections.

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations, fire safety standards and environmental laws.

· Maintain proper documentation for inspections, certificates, safety records and maintenance logs.

· Coordinate with external contractors and service providers.

The Requirements

· Proven experience in a maintenance management role, ideally within a hotel or hospitality environment.

· Strong technical knowledge across multiple trades.

· Leadership and team management skills.

· Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.

· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

· Relevant technical qualifications or certifications (preferred).

· Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

· A customer focused and can-do attitude.

Schedule: 5 out of 7 days per week

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €40,000.00 per year
